- Studies at the University Heidelberg, major subject English, minor subject French, additional subject Law (key areas: European law, International law).
- Branch of study: Translation / Applied linguistics.
- If required, I certify my translations for public authorities and institutions in Germany and abroad.
- Authorized translator for the Regional Court of Appeals in Düsseldorf since 1987 for English/German and German/English.
- Apart from a longstanding employment with a Düsseldorf Law Firm, I have been working since 1987 as a freelance translator for nationally and internationally operating law offices, enterprises and individuals.
- I run my translator's office independently as a self-employed person. My services for clients are provided from a single source. In case of special challenges I work project-oriented in cooperation with a small circle of professionally experienced translators with complementary specializations, and native English speakers.
- Advanced training courses in Spanish, Romanian, Excel, Accounting regulations (IFRS, IAS, GAAP) etc.
